LOTD: Pretty in Blue

Hi beauties

Hope you are doing great? and sure you all are taking preventive measures against the spread of the deadly Ebola virus. Let's ensure to wash our hands regularly with soap and water, use hand sanitizers especially those with more than 60% alcohol content and avoid crowded places.

Here's a look I created using blue eyeshadow and  purple for contour. This is not a colour I would readily wear but I decided to try something different and be bold with my eye color, for the lips I used a nude lipstick so focus can be on the eyes only. Remember to always play up one feature and tone down the other'.

Face:
Milk of magnesia - face primer
LA concealer
Marykay foundation 607 &708
MAC studio fix NW 45
Milani multitasker powder
Mary kay blush

Brows:
Jordana brow pencil- dark brown
Milani brow kit- 03

Eyes:
Mars eyeshadow base
Miss Rose eyeshadow palette
Bh 88 cool matte palette
Bh 26 colour neutral palette
Milani eye tech liner
Maybelline colossal kajal
Marykay Ultimate mascara

Lips:
Zaron lip liner
Milani nude cream lipstick

I'm totally in love with the final look and so glad I decided to try something new or different, I would definitely create more colorful eyes. Sure you can recreate this look its something quite easy to create.

Till my next post, Stay beautiful......

Product review: Unveil whisking Brush

Hi Beauties,

Today I am reviewing the Unveil whisking brush (I call it Kabuki brush anyways). I got this brush as a gift sometimes last year, though I have used some products from the Unveil makeup range, I didn't know much about their brushes but of course since it came as a gift, I gladly received it and decided to use it as a personal tool.

PACKAGING

It comes in a transparent  bag, has a metallic silver handle with name written on it. the bristles are soft and appear brown in colour.

 Pros:
  • Very soft with fine bristles
  • Blends evenly
  • It does not shed or pull out
  • Can be used for powder, bronzer, blush
  • Its of great quality and affordable
Cons:
I had just one problem with this brush; the fact its not retractable or does not come in a pack.

My overall Thought
I absolutely love this cute little brush. for an indigenous brand, its does a fantastic job.  I use it mostly for powder and  blush. It does not waste products and it blends beautifully. Its very easy to wash and it does not shed.

I would definitely recommend  and repurchase.

If you need the Unveil whisking brush please contact me.

Till my next post,
Stay beautiful.....

Review: Tint Ruby ruby

Hi beauties,
Happy new month y'all hope the month started out great for us all.
Today's post is a product review. I went shopping few weeks ago and came across this lipstick, heard its a matte red so I decided to try it out though I left the shop without buying it because my MAC ruby woo does a great job, I had a rethink after a friend met me same day at Ikeja and asked what lipstick I'm wearing? I quickly looked into my mirror because I had complely forgotten what lipstick I had on. Ok... I finally got it and here's what I think.

Description:
This is a product of Tint cosmetics, a manufacturer of high quality, premium grade color cosmetics and skin care essentials. It's matte red and easy to apply.

Packaging:

Tint ruby ruby comes in black tube,
It has a color coded sticker below with the name shade on it for easy identification.

Formula:
The Tint Ruby ruby is a matte red lipstick. it glides on smoothly on the lips. it does not accentuate dryness especially if you have dry lips. The color is very rich and it will suit most complexions. It also has a good staying power.

Price:  2500.

Overall, I love this lipstick, its of a great formula and has a pleasant smell to me. it can pass as a dupe for Mac ruby woo, in fact that's the reason I bought it and i'm impressed. So, if you want a matte red lipstick that's more pocket friendly, you can get Tint ruby ruby.

Till my next post,
Stay beautiful...
